The Central Coast Airfest Plane Pull brings participants together from all over Northern Santa Barbara to test the strength of ten teams and determine who can pull a 124,000-pound jet 12 feet the fastest.

Team members and donors take pledges to take part, with the funds going to support several hundred local Special Olympics athletes each year.

The goal is to raise money to support the roughly 300 athletes who participate in Special Olympics in the North County area. In all, the event raised over $10,000 for its athletes! Thank you to all who joined and committed to the cause!

Law Enforcement agencies in attendance included the Santa Barbara District Attorney’s Office, Santa Maria Police Department, Santa Maria Rangers and Santa Barbara County Probation Department.
